Fresh ingredients, really nice spicy flavors, perfect warm hearty dishes for when you're in the mood for some good comfort food. The owner is genuinely kind and truly cares about her customers.

Suggestion, if you want takeaways, place your order over the phone with them and go collect yourself. Mr D Food and Uber Eats over inflate their prices by R40 - R60, that's on top of the R20 "Delivery Fee" the app charges you, plus you still have to tip the delivery guy

My girlfriend and I have been looking for a place to enjoy high quality indian food for some time and it is with great joy that we found Pakwaan. Our waitress was very kind and knowledgeable about the food and this provided more of an experience eating there.
Their Lamb curries are fantastic and their paneer and vada are delicious as well. The decor is also quite charming and they have created a lovely atmosphere at Pakwaan.

This is definitely a place I would go to again and again.

Great hospitality behavior are too good
Very clean inside the area and they are following COVID rules with all rules and regulations

The Biryani was great. Filled with flavors and spice. I enjoyed the food and the staff was nice.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Most definitely highly recommended! Just enjoyed an amazing and flavour packed Dal Makhani with Naan - and they were happy to make the dish vegan. Truly a hidden local gem that will certainly see me again. Thank you for a fantastic meal.

Naan is more dough then bread
Butter chicken is over cooked and more water then gravy
Onion Bhagattjee hard as a rock
Riata very thinned out
Naan over cooked

Absolutely amazing food. Great quality for food. Such a friendly hostess and owner. Love the personal touch she brings to the engagement with clients, and the unique spice combination that comes with the bill is fantastic and so authentically Indian! Will definitely be back very soon!
