Brilliant sister hotel to Victoria u0026 Alfred. Very comfortable rooms. Lots of thoughtful styling throughout. Staff were all very friendly and helpful for any need. Breakfast was delicious and you can also enjoy breakfast at the sister hotel. Would certainly recommend to anyone visiting Cape Town. Didn't use the pool as we were there in Winter. Cocktails were delicious though!

This hotel is gorgeous…that is a given. But the staff are the most phenomenal assets.

Huge shout outs to Zameka and Clayton; they made sure that my stay was incredible. Even more, they made me feel like family. I will really miss them (and how often can one say that about people they just met?).

The food and drinks were prepared by honest-to-goodness craftsmen. Queen Victoria Hotel provides delight upon delight. I can’t wait to return to this little slice of Heaven!

We spent two of our honeymoon nights at the hotel and were greeted by amazing staff who were friendly and professional. We were escorted to our rooms after we were given a mini tour of the hotel.

The room was clean and refreshing, we decided to have a relaxed evening as and stay in as we had run around the Waterfront during the day only to find out that our TV had signal issues. We told management about it and they got someone to come and have a look only for them to advise us that the signal was week and there's nothing that they can do. I was a bit surprise as the other hotels around the waterfront did not have this issue. The excuse was poor and we decided to just go to bed.

The breakfast at the Queen Victoria was okay, your basics were served.

The Victoria and Alfred hotel had scrumptious breakfast and an amazing view, definitely recommend having your daily breakfast there.

Would I go back to Queen Victoria? Unfortunately not, will go back to the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel though as the rooms, staff and breakfast was amazing.

Service was incredible, location is great (but not all rooms have a nice view), and breakfast was delicious.
BUT, the rooms are in need of a renovation (the lobby on the other hand looks brand new and nicely designed).
Our bathtub was malfunctioned, the shower was terrible and the room felt old and disconnected from the rest of the hotel. Also, the pool area can use a bit of a touch up and the gym equipment could be refreshed.
Overall, price value, quite satisfying, but they could do much better with a bit of an investment. Nonetheless, we recommend it!

Very good hotel, excellent service, nice breakfast options, great staff. Pool isn't massive but ok for 20-30 minute swims.

Room was decent with high ceilings, good bathroom, Ethernet and HDMI plugs. Shower pressure could be higher, about the only negative thing I can say.
