Great birding spot. Not a lot of amenities, but they do bring awareness of wetland areas and there are benches to sit down.

They seem to have braai areas, but I haven't used it yet.

We went in with our bicycles and it was quite an easy ride (beginners trail).

Well worth the small fee one has to pay to enter. Enjoyed a relaxing walk to the far ends of the reserve and back with some friends. The bird hides and board walks are well maintained. The area is clean and neat. Thank you to the clearly dedicated team that preserves this wetland area.

Such a beautiful place. Great for picnics too. Amazing birdlife. However the first time we went, we went to sit in the Sunset Hide ... so figured it would be a good place to go to next time during sunset. Arrived there just after 4pm and it was closed - turns out they close at 4pm, although people who are already in there need to leave by 5pm. Hmmmm - so you can't quite watch birds during sunset, then?

Wonderful place for exercise and to walk a dog. Can walk up to 5km on a greenbelt with a great view.
