Lovely little walk through the lake into 2 bird watching hides.
The place could be so much better. There is braai places and tables but the maintenance needs to be brought up. Braai places are no longer straight and there is moss on some of the concrete tables and chair.

Over and above it was a love little afternoon.

Went for water bird viewing. Blustery wind made photography difficult. Saw pelicans, flamingo and many others

Well worth it. So close to the urban madness, one can break away to the quiet and peacefulness of nature. The reserve is well maintained and kept clean. Clearly a dedicated and committed team works hard to keep it that way.

Beautiful and scenic place. Kids friendly great place to have picnic with the view of Diep estuary and Table mountain ????

Great for bird watching or walks. There is no shade, so bring a hat and sunscreen.

Great for water sports.... Sadly fishing is non existent..... But beautiful place to have a picnic and watch and enjoy what nature has to offer

Beautiful for an afternoon walk with family. Bird watching is also done here
