Really enjoyed visiting this historical site on top of Red Hill, what a massive gun and what beautiful views from the mountain which you can see Simonstown, Naval Harbour absolutely stunning

Lovely view of Simon town from this former coastal defense battery site. I wish the city or the Naval department could do some restoration work instead of letting this piece of history rusting away.

Great place. Good views and an interesting historical monument. Worth a visit on the way to/from Simonstown.

Awesome piece of military history mixed with a spectacular view, just a shame you can't view from the inside

Wow what a cool place. Came down from JHB for a visit to Kommetjie and Fishhoek. Really cool place and awesome views. Massive Canon there.
