Food was great and the view of the sea and the mountain behind the restaurant makes it worth it so much more.
The food is very old school with their food and drinks. It would be great if they could add additional items to their drinks menu such as sugar free soft drinks and cordials and also lactose intolerant and gluten free milks such as almond, oats and rice milk.
Looking forward to seeing the new items on the menu.

Will definitely be going again! They have an amazing three course Sunday lunch for R119 per person. A half starter of soup with bread, a sunday roast with veggies and rice and then dessert!!! You must pre book as they get very busy. Seating times for lunch are from 12h00 - 14h00 and then again at 14h00 - 16h00. You will not be disappointed!!

My mom said they went there in the 60's and have not been there for over 30 years. So we decided to take her there again. We had some Bitter Ballen for starters. Very nice. I ordered the Hollandse Biefstuk 300g. Wow! This was the best steak I've had in many years. Cooked to perfection. Crunchy on the outside and pink inside. Very soft and no fat or sinew. Again Wow! My daughter ordered the Pepper steak with she said was just as good. The prices was very reasonable ad the service was good too. We had a great evening. Another Wow for the Steak!

Such a beautiful restaurant. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the calamari, baked camembert cheese, Bianca pizza and ribs. I would highly recommend it. Really great atmosphere. Will definitely be back again

The best steak I’ve ever had!! It was so tender I could actually cut it with a fork!! Our waitress was kind and attentive, nice location and view. I had a incredible milkshake that again was one of the best drinks I’ve ever had..if I come back to cape town this will be 100% on my list of things to do!! Thank you????????????

Just a quick visit but was here before. A fantastic setting overlooking False Bay!
Great stop when you're driving cycling or running...

My family and I booked a table at Dixie's for 6pm on Saturday evening. We were given an awesome table and our waiter was there to welcome us and settle us in. Throughout the night our waiter kept our drinks full, and happily bantered with us as we tried to make up our minds on what delicious meal to choose. He was attentive, and always cheerful. I want to re-iterate how skilled and adaptable he was because my father is Scottish and has a thick accent. This makes it really painful for him to order food with wait-staff because of the harsh accent which can be hard to understand. The waiter not only took this in his stride, but he was polite and deliberate in trying to understand my father and ensure that his needs were met.
Excellent service to go along with the amazing food.
Keep up the awesome work.
