Shoprite itself, very, very busy, actually didn't buy anything as the queues were very long and not enough tills open. Went to have a quick bite at Hungry Lion and that was super nice.

Very packed ,long que to pay around month end gets worse and stuff is so friendly willing to help anyone.

I understand that most of the time the store is out of stock as a result as the high volume
of customers.
As a rule, I don't shop at Shoprite, Broadway because most of the time the store doesn't comply with the social distancing rule.
I've been to this store 3 times before peak hours.
On all 3 occasions the toilet paper were sold out,.
I asked for a rain cheque as the special price is advertise on the shelf.
The assistant called the Manager who explained to me if the special is not in the brochure, he cannot provide me with a rain cheque.
This is misleading advertisement in contravention with the consumer protection act.
The company need to send their staff on training.

This supermarket sells items in both bulk and single form. Takeaways of cooked meals are available. There is a large parking area and wheelchairs can access the store and move freely between the aisles.

The worst place to go for shopping.The staff they dont even have sense of agency.The Cashier she was very slow.The worst experience ever......Tried to ask for a manager but the manager was nowhere to be found.They are ignorant wen it comes to customer service.Wen its comes to the Cashier Boniswa Qundani she doesn't even care at all we ended up leaving some groceries we wanted to buy????...

Was at shoprite and everything went well,the shop was clean and the prices were so low and the problem came when I was paying the cashier Andiswa Mkef::: was very rude went as far as telling me uuum u even hesitating to pay haibo im the one who picked my groceries how can they be hard for me to pay, the thing is she was talking in xhosa never under estimate customers we might be quite bt when we respond its not ok , if you have problems ask for OFF Days not bothering customers she spoilted my day

TODAY I AM BRINGING THIS MATTER TO THE MANAGER OR THE CEO OF SHOPRITE. I AM DISPOINTED OF THE STAFFS THAT YOU RECRUTE IN SHOPRITE I DOUBT IF THEY OBTAINED A PROPER TRAINING TO DEAL WITH CUSTOMERS . I AM NOT WRITTING THE NAME OF THE CASHIER BUT IF SHE READ THIS SHE WILL KNOW WHO SHE IS SHE WAS SITTING TODAY AT THE 10 ITEMS EXPRESS THE FIRST LADY ON THE LEFT. DEAR CEO OR MANAGER YOUR EMPLYEES MUST KNOW WHEN THEY COME TO SHOPRITE THEY MUST KNOW ITS SOMEONE BUSINESS THAT S WHY THEY GET PAID TO PRODUCE GOOD SERVICE TO CUSTOMERS WE CUSTOMERS WE DON'T COME TO SHOPRITE TO STEAL FOOD BUT WE BUY SO THE MUST RESPECT USTHAT ATTITUDE OF THEM MUST CHANGE BECAUSE THAT IS WORK AND NOT HOME BECAUSE ONE DAY THEY WILL HAVE SOMEONE WITH SORT TEMPER WILL END UP CLAPING ONE OF THEM BECAUSE WE ARE NOT THEY KIDS WE ARE ADULTS SO RESPECT IS LIKEWISE. SO I HOPE YOU WILL SPEAK TO YOUR STAFFS THEY MUST HAVE A PURPOSE WHEN THEY COME TO WORK AT SHOPRITE.WHEN THEY HELPING THE CUSTOMER THEY CANNOT STOP HELPING AND TALKING ABOUT COLLEAGUES ABOUT THEIR PERSONAL STORIES.
