Stunning view and tranquil atmosphere. Last been here over 35yrs ago. Just disappointed that one cannot go to the dam. If people could only see the beauty of it. Not sure if it's the same though. I remember going down to the dam wall. See attached pics.

Beautiful view. On a clear day you can see, if not forever, but at least to the cranes in Cape Town harbour.
We were above the clouds in the sunshine this time.

Such a beautiful sight! Chatted to some awesome staff at the lookout, who showed us pictures of the dams, thanks fuys! Would really have loved to see the dams myself though....its closed to the public sadly ????

I mean if you EVER need to be reminded of this magnificent beauty we are part of and what is most important visit the Steenbras Lookout .
