Delicious meal with a lovely vibe. Make sure you order the cousins special. It's to die for.

We visited as a group of five on a Saturday evening. The staff were excellent and the food was delicious.

The highlight was the cousins special which is tossed in a wheel of cheese. It's fantastically delicious.

What an amazing evening! My daughter chose this place for her birthday dinner. The food was amazing, the staff even more amazing- so attentive: the waiters and management alike. The ambience...felt like we were in little Italy ????????...this was the best dinner experience I've had in a long time as the whole place was on point. Well done Cousins????????

Brought by friends who have been frequent diners for years. We absolutely loved it. They especially booked for when the owner Simonè would be there. He personally attended to us; a very humble yet strong personality.....and the food was amazing! We sat in the 3rd dining area at the back, underneath a stunning almost 3 dimensional art piece of an Italian village road. This only added to the ambience. When we visit again, I will definitely ask for that table again. The experience felt more immerseful because of that painting

The food was delicious! Loved our pasta, bread, and the starter cheese and meat tray. The staff was outstanding and attentive! The most disappointing was the aggressive, confrontational approach of one of the owners (Cousin #1) when dealing with the staff. We witnessed him yelling at one of the wait staff with a lot of hand gestures in a separate area. Only to later call out another wait staff member in the middle of the dining room in front of a room full of customers. Then coming back to the table to justify his behavior with the customers. And again confronting the wait staff about the same incident. This affected the ambiance, creating a hostile environment and we were ready to leave after observing a total of 4 inappropriate encounters. There is definitely a time and place to address these issues, which is certainly not in front of customers. The staff responded well and we highly recommend reservations but trust you will enjoy your food and service in your visit.

I’ve been to Italy many times, been to many Italian restaurants and this ranked quite low on my list. The service was great however our food was very average. We had the melanzane which lacked flavor and sauce. We also had the signature pasta thrown in the Parmesan wheel, which was very exciting however the pasta was cold and pasta undercooked. I asked them to heat it up, it came back hot, with more sauce and overly salty that we needed more water.
Was rather upset the rave reviews didn’t quite meet the expectations, especially that it is quite pricey.

The cousins is one of the best Italians we ever tasted. The staff was very friendly, the food arrived very quickly and tasted delicious. Fortunately we discovered this restaurant in the beginning of our stay in Cape Town, we went 3 times in 4 days. :-) We strongly recommend!

It’s been delicious! Very good pasta and a nice atmosphere! Liked it a lot.
The waiter was fantastic and the bread was delicious.

The only negative could be that there aren’t a lot vegan options and it’s a little bit more pricey that the rest oft Capetown.
