Awesume food and super friendly staff, our waiter explained the menu perfectly, gave some tips and even made some jokes in between. The view is spectacular, you can enjoy camps bay while eating some curry food. The restaurant was clean and very professional, the pricing is a little bit high but for some reason considering the great service it felt fair. Keep up the great work and the awesume food well done????????

For location , this place deserves 5 star. For quality and quantity, 3 star. Overpriced when considering the quality and quantity of food and also the fact that the curries are not accompanied by rice. The per person dinning experience here is over R200( one drink, and one curry with either rice or bread). The staff is friendly and very welcoming.

Our go to place for Indian food. Never disappointed and the beautiful view of the ocean is totally magestic.The manager Leslie was totally hands on all over the place.

Great setting opposite the beach. Food is excellent. Portions are large. Somewhat pricey, but par for the course due to the setting.

Ordered samooss, it tasted extremely floury, the pur used was of a horrible quality. I could’ve rather spent the R70 for the 4 samoosas at the corner shop, samoosas dripped in oil and felt as if it was reheated in a microwave. Ordered two chicken and two “lamb”, only to discover that “lamb” is mince, according to The Raj.
Dishes are not well priced, as quality of food is extremely flavourless for a so called Indian specialty restaurant.
Interior is very well designed and decor is exceptional. The food, which is the main attraction, is of an extremely low quality and not worth the money at all. Rice is an added extra for a meal, which should be free, given the price being charged. I am no stranger to food that is a bit pricy, but the quality should match the price.
I definitely would not be returning and not be recommending them to any of my colleagues, friends and families.

Very disappointed. Over priced, low quality, less quantity for the price. I have ordered mango lassie and they gave me a plain yogurt and when I said this is not a mango lassie, they took the lassie inside and just added sugar in it. At least there is no mango flavour in it. So I felt that they don't have intention to improve the quality as well as customer satisfaction.

Not only this. I have ordered peas pulao which was pathetic and romali roti was not hot. Just the location of the restaurant is good. So I gave 1star.

I really enjoyed our food experience at The Raj. The prices were ok and the alcoholic beverage prices were also affordable. The location is fantastic and close to all the vibrant surrounding spots. The butter chicked and samosas were to die for with amazing authentic flavours. I will recommend them if your in the area and in the mood for some lovely Indian cuisine.
