This hidden gem of a restaurant offers an airy ambience.

It's hidden because you're more likely to pop into one of the many restaurants on your way to its entrance in the heart of the promenade.

Once you're in, there's an ample selection in the menu but it was the milkshakes that really stood out for me. You should try one!

While you dine, there's a lovely view of the road below and the beach in the distance.

You can also see tourists moving about in the open roof, double decker Cape Town sightseeing bus.

Get the view of camps bay- eat upstairs at Tindlovu Camps Bay. You will love it…What a wonderful experience. We opted for the sushi, excellent variety and good value for money. Thank you to Memory for the awesome service! Appreciate it!

Stunning setting if you book the balcony to front seats of Campsbay beach ⛱️ as well as the most magnificent beautiful sunsets while you sip away on your wine or cocktails!!
Friendly staff and very big portions!!!! The food is well presented and really good helping if you feel like a big meal - African hospitality at its best!

Went there to on Valentines Day. Busy night, but not too busy. On the plus side the setup was wonderful. The views over Camps Bay were a marvel and its worth visiting this restaurant for the views alone.

Unfortunately the food didn't live up to the ambiance and neither did the service. It took an age to be served and when I finally was, at times I felt I had been forgotten.

To cap off a less than enjoyable night, my fish (I ordered fish and chips) came out undercooked. The batter was still raw and chewy. I didn't have the energy to complain so I went about my way.

To be fair it was Valentines Day and the staff were likely working at maximum effort. So I don't think this is an indication of the restaurant itself. It was a bad day. I still think it's worth visiting at least for sundowners. That I would happily cosign.

Tindlovu is a delightful venue in the space where Blues was situated.
Beautiful views, interesting menu and good service.

They have a decent menu but don’t have anything on it. Multiple juices they don’t have. No vinegar available for fish and chips. Old oil so anything fried is soggy. Spaghetti was all beef with the tiniest bit of noodles. When we asked if we could get some spaghetti noodles with the beef we were told there’s no button for that so we’d have to pay for another plate. The worst meal in Cape Town and we were the only one’s in the restaurant. I don’t think they’ll be around much longer.

Fabulous food. Stunning views. Stylish decor. And absolutely outstanding service from Eve. It's not as often as one may wish that one encounters the combination of warmth and professionalism as exuded by Eve. For the first time in a very long time there was nothing at all on which to fault the person serving. Thank you and well done!

Overall, a hidden gem. And well priced, especially compared to other slightly ostentatious eateries in the same hood.
