I stayed at the Walden House for 2 nights after arriving in Cape Town. It’s a beautiful house with a gate, spacious, air conditioned rooms, and a lovely cooked breakfast. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. They gave me recommendations on where to eat dinner (solo American woman) nearby. The location is very close to Table Mountain and easily accessible to most of Cape Town’s attractions.

Very comfortable room at a good price for the area. It's within walking distance of many shops and restaurants.
Additionally, the staff was more than happy to help me with an additional booking and adjustment thereof on short notice.

We recently stayed at Walden House June 16-18, 2019. There were 6 adults in our party. Walden House is beautiful, gated, and the rooms beautifully furnished and spacious. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accessible. Breakfast was amazing with a variety of foods to choose from. Walden House was a couple of blocks from shops, restaurants and a rooftop bar with an amazing view of Table Mountain. We felt safe walking from Walden House to the restaurants. Highly recommend staying here while in Cape Town.

Such a wonderful guest house with great rooms, comfy beds, very yummy breakfast, and such friendly staff. The location is also perfect as it is easy to get uber to anywhere and there are lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Just loved our stay here!

Amazing setting. The views are gobsmacking from the balcony. Table mountain by day and the city lights at night. Very helpfull and friendly staff.Large breakfast display . The rooms are spacious, the bedding crisp and the general atmosphere one that beckons me to definately go back.

I have had an amazing experience at the Walden House, the staff is amazing , the view from the Balcony is out of this world. Looking for a place to call home i would recommend the Walden House. If you are in South Africa and you haven't visited the Walden House...tell me "What have you been doing with your life".

The Walden house Is Simply fantastic, great location, kindl staff, great breakfast. the style of this bed and breakfast makes you imagine living in the past, elegant and attention to detail, clean. Silvia e Davide
