Very friendly and informative staff at entrance door, reception and within the museum. Receptionist made us cup of tea n coffee for a reasonable price, which we sat out on the front patio to enjoy with a delicious crunchy, half way through our tour. It was so intimate to be in the artist's home, which has been kept as if she left the room yesterday. The garden too mustn't be missed. No wonder it was a great inspiration to her. The works on show cover a wide spectrum of her work, early 1920s upto a year before she died. Not too many of the very valuable ones are exhibited. There was also a supplementary exhibition of a new young artist, woven into the Irma Stern exhibition. Very thought provoking. Well worth the visit.
