The sweetest tranquil spot amid the bustle of the suburbs. Always worth a visit when in Rosebank near Liesbeeck Park way close to Mowbray. The Breakfast u0026 Lunch specials are always worth it and enjoyable. Friendly service, good food, beautiful plants and a delightful store to shop for trendy home items. An all-in-one spot that ticks all the boxes for a peaceful morning out. Spotted the cutest little vintage version of the Fiat 500cc.

Beautiful shop with some of the most amazing plants! They also have an aging gift section! The Cafe on site is to die for.Their meals are delicious and great coffee.

Today I was meeting others at the restaurant, this place was surprisingly quiet for noon on a Friday! Not 1 thing we ordered disappointed. ALL the plants in this nursery are not dead, they are all completely the opposite. Have fun all... I really like how the outdoor floor plan of the nursery is always just slightly altered whenever I return, which seems to be alot lately!

Huge premises and a wide variety of plants. Small restaurant on site which closes at 16:30. Pet friendly. Lovely water features. Come in and see for yourself. Ample parking too.

The selection of plants is decent with enough gardening equipment and pots to make it worth your while to visit.
The prices are expensive! I’ve been and bought nothing, just because of how shocked I was at how much they are charging for such small, common plants.

Tranquil space with the most incredible variety of plants. Received amazing service from Crystal at the enquiry desk and from Dean in the garden. They went the extra mile and were so helpful and pleasant. Both are a credit to Starke Ayres. Thank you. ????

I had a really good time at this nursery and it had all the necessary goods.
Unfortunately though, I spent a whole day planting (indoor pots) all my new seeds into ONLY the soil I'd bought from here.
And as soon as they germinated, I started having little bugs hatch, I've used natural insecticides from a store. I cannot get rid of them after days of trying. I'm scared there are eggs in the soil and now there is no hope for the future of any of my plants.
And it's exceptionally disappointing, and not to mention a waste of my money.
