Victoria hospital staff was really great!! The doctors, despite being under pressure were really great and helped my son. The level of service is very close to that of a private hospital. The nurses were wonderful and very caring in the mens ward. Thank you to Dr Jones and Dr Wang for all your help and commitment in trying to figure out what is wrong with my son. May God bless you for your sacrifice and May He grant you wisdom and guidance as you continue to help people in their need. Thank you for the commitment and care. May God return the favor because it is too great for me to even try to return. Thank you, thank you, Thank you… will be forever grateful to God for all you have done for us!!!

I would like to thank the the staff at Victoria hospital. My mother in law had a heart attack and the swift and professional response was truly amazing. Every person from the security, nurses and doctors was so helpful and caring. I cannot thank you enough for the impeccable service received. Hats off to you. I commend you for your passion and commitment for saving a life. My faith in public hospitals has been restored.

World's most useless emergency ward doctors went home halfway through there shift toilets are only cleant during the day sick infants, toddlers (including children) and the elderly aren't attended too (you actually have to call the doctor in the case of a sick child) vagrants coming looking to get out of the cold and fighting. To sum it up an absolute bloody disgrace if I could give it zero stars I would. The Western cape government needs to do something about this hospital AND FAST!!!!

Doctors showed very little compassion after my late mother was declared DOA. It took over an hour for the forensic pathologists to arrive. The floor of the E.R was covered in blood stains. It was the most traumatic night of my life.

When my son was very sick. We never have anywhere else to go and it was the time we just had a lockdown and my son had an infection on his head. They welcomed us and helped my son so much. I thank all the nurses at this hospital for all the great work that they have done on my son. My son now his doing very well the head is now growing hair back.

Absolutely disgusting! I went to the emergency / trauma unit. Not one person took it seriously. Eventually a nurse appeared. She asked a question that I couldn’t quite hear and I said “what”? She then preceded to scream at me about how bad my manners were and how dare I speak to her like that. One would think when you’re dealing with a patient in the emergency unit, you’d leave the lecture about manners after treatment perhaps?
The security people were rude and unhelpful and shouting at us about where we had parked.
Nonetheless I received no treatment and had to go to Kingnsbury.
As for Victoria please do NOT go there if it’s an emergency. The nurses and doctors couldn’t care less. I suspect to the point that even if they read this would probably roll their eyes. Typical government institution. Never again
