One of those hostels that's a home away from home (I'm a worldwide veteran). Spotlessly clean with fantastic kitchen and bathroom facilities as well as a very personable crew. Half of the people during our stay (including my mother) were woman who were perfectly comfortable. The neighbourhood has great eating and drinking options, very approachable locals and a well stocked supermarket within a minutes walk.
The beds and sheets are comfortable and the towels provided a nice touch. Wanderlust awaits!:)

Very comfortable and super clean! Like that its small, quiet and homely. Nice tv room with big screen, decent wifi all over the house, nice outdoor area to chill as well. Decent bunks with towels and blankets which most places dont do. Great team of staff that are friendly and helpful.

Super chill, friendly people. Very close to good food and the like. I felt safe and secure. Clean and comfortable with kitchen, bathrooms with showers, and lounge area. Will go again.

My first stay was great,however while en route from Table View one Friday Evening I decided to phone ahead to see weather there was a bed available, I was told that there was more than enough space and that I was Wellcome.

Yea Right!! On arrival, at the gate I heard a female voice saying" can I help you" I responded by saying that I had called a little while ago regarding the available bed for the night!

I wasn't invited In at all,but was simply told to try somewhere else as they were all of a sudden fully booked! Thank God for 33 South Backpackers who were most welcoming and friendly! I refuse to go anywhere else after the blatently rude and unprofessional experience I went through!

Amazing hostel with even more amazing staff, allways there if you need something. very friendly hostel, feels like coming home! The hostel is located in obz, real cool place with loads to see and do! But it's also real easy if u want to travel around in cape town, take an uber or ask wanderlust backpackers and they will help u arrange a trip.

This place is amazing, what is more amazing is the staff! I have LOVED living here for 5 weeks and will definitely not go to any other backpackers in CT except for Wanderlust. I am in love with this place. Really recommend this place!
