What a nice place! I stopped here for the first time during the Argus in 2020!

1. They have great food. The chicken burgers (also the cheapest meal on the menu R97) was delicious.
2. They have a bar area but their milkshakes and coffee is equally tasty.
3. There are booths for groups of people but on days where there is rugby, they set the single tables in such a way that there is a TV view.
4. Older generations have been meeting friends there for years and the different generations enjoy a beer together.
5. The restaurant is located next to a little river with large trees. There is outside seating if you want to enjoy nature
6. My family and I went here for lunch after a boat ride a km or so away (Nauticat). There was a seal eating fish at the harbor.
7. The road there is stunning (nature and ocean)

Brilliant restaurant, sports bar and pub.

Superb value for money and great vibe. Best Pub in Hout Bay and great for sporting events

The last time I was here, was in 2018. Covid took it's toll but they are up and going forward again. Nice friendly owner, service delivery was very prompt. We only had drinks this time but I was happy to see that they are using biodegradable straws.

Very nice setting with inside and outside seating. Premises are clean and well maintained. Big selection of wine and drafts available. Menu priced reasonably. The steak and genus pie is great. Will return.

We went for the roast. The meat was quite tough and small portion of veg. The roast potatoes were delicious but I left there still hungry.

2nd visit. Enjoyed the food. Rather limited inside seating but plenty outside. During visit there were two dogs in restaurant, one of which yapped each time owner moved. I found this practice rather annoying.
