Celebrated my Moms 80th at TajMahal. First time for us and we were pleasantly surprised. Food was good and the host excellent. Thank you for making my Moms 80th memorable!

Food was very oily, we had the Crayfish curry u0026 Crayfish masala, Crayfish was over cooked and sauce had way too much oil and tomatoes. We ordered sides of Naan u0026 Roti which was quite doughy. Staff seemed quite friendly though but it's run more as a take aways than an actual restaurant. Unfortunately we won't be returning.

Wow, amazing food. Had the Crayfish Curry (Hot) and it has so much flavor and was just the right amount. Tried the butter Naan instead of rice and wasn't disappointed, the Naan was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff and manager are very friendly and efficient.
Definitely visit the Taj Mahal again soon..

Three of us had mild lamb curry dishes. All delicious. Generous portions. Two would have been quite adequate for the three of us unless you like enormous helpings. We will definitely be back.

We sat outside watching the Cape Cycle Tour go past and had ringside seats! A very good place to watch from.

If you’re going to make someone wait 2.5hrs for a single curry, then at least have the decency to give them a free naan. Atrocious service

Worst experience ever. Food took more than a hour to come and there were only two other customers seated. Staff in kitchen not wearing mop caps when handling food. No one on the floor to see to customers. Didn't even want to use the restroom because nothing was working in there. Very poor Hygiene the chairs were dirty and torn .definitely won't go back there thats for sure.

If you want fresh good authentic Indian/Malay cooking with friendly service then this is the place. The restaurant has been there for years so the decor looks a bit dated but still kept clean though. But we went for the food. And it was very good.
