Very relaxed, good service, lovely meal. They went out of their way to make the lunch pleasurable for my mum who is not a big eater but wanted the chicken curry. So they dished up half the portion, and bagged the other half for us to take home. I had the bobotie which was delicious. Thank you.

A lovely pub/restaurant to come with the family for a lunch, or with friends to watch the rugby, or even as a couple for a nice day out. They have a very big and varied menu and the food is absolutely delicious, and they aren't shy with their portion sizes! They also have a big drinks menu with everything you can think of. We ordered a round of shooters for dessert - there were so many to choose from. Can definitely recommend Bosvelder.

We had an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, Juan attended to us and made us feel like special guests. He was super attentive and professional at all times, while ensuring we had a great afternoon.
The food and drinks were the best and my friends couldn't stop raving about Bosvelder.
Will definitely recommend and request Juan again in future!! Keep up the great service, Juan!

Still the good food Bosvelder has been known for at competitive prices. Go try their real South African meals like bobotie, skilpadjies etc, you will not be dissapointed.

I am sad to post this review as my friends and I have always loved frequenting this try South Africa restaurant. The food and restaurant staff are great, don't get me wrong. The problem is with the guys they employ to look after our cars outside. I would urge the management of this establishment to remember that these guys are first people that we have to deal with on arrival. I am shocked at the caliber of people that are supposed to be seen as trustworthy and assurance. The young guys working there are arrogant, rude and in your face. They don't take no for an answer. Being someone who always has a little something for them, then being nagged and berated the one time I don't is to me completely unacceptable. To top that off,I am sorry to say but the smell that comes of him and his buddy was absolutely putrid, like he hadn't bathed in days. He actually seemed like he was on something as well. If I can avoid the whole bad experience by not going there again, then so be it. Sorry to say but we will be finding a new watering hole. Shocked and disappointed.
