One of the best kept memorials to the victims of the British concentration camps during the Boer War. It is well maintained, beautifully laid out, with a number of points of interest. Tours are available and informative pamphlets at the centre.

A very well kept historical site, commemorating an oft underappreciated portion of the nation's past.
There is a coffee shop on the premises with very good selection of hot beverages and decent baked goods.

Free entrance, well maintained, interesting display. Nowadays, the Afrikaans and the English work together and intermarry and strive to make the world a nicer place.

My great grandmother and her family were held there after captured at Nietgadacht, two of her family died at his terrible place! We will never forget!

Beautifully kept. Clean and tidy. No litter whatsoever. Its beautiful to see this is so well looked after. The history behind it all was a real eye opener.

I love that there is no entrance fee to appreciate this piece of history, and the coffee shop on the premised is phenomenal. Definitely give the mocha freezo a try.
