Clean, comfortable rooms in a characterful old house set in a lovely garden. Friendly, helpful host and delicious farmhouse breakfast.

It looked like the room was prepared for one person instead of two. Aircon works well and garden beautiful.

Went there on a pitch and ride for brunch. Nice place, out in the boonies, by a crystal clear river. Had a good time.

I had been booked in for a week at The Gold Nugget in Barberton "Whitey" is the Owner/Manager and have to compliment the establishment and management on a very homely and comfortable stay all amenities one could require is at the disposal of a guest , I thoroughly enjoyed the conversations on the "stoep" Balcony for the foreign readers and much appreciated the cold beers after a day's work ... The room has a very cosy ambiance and a air conditioner that will definitely be a huge bonus in the summer month heat ! If you're in the Barberton area you will not be disappointed at making this establishment your residence for the duration of your stay .
