Awesome place. They play great dance music and serve the Brest cocktails. The vibe is just great. Onev should wear an item of clothing that is reflective in order to enjoy the effects of the lights on the dance floor.

My friends drink got spiked here and his phone and wallet were taken, he was left in his car till sunrise, I'm sad people still do this kind of thing. I don't see any security presence there especially during the later hours, and the bar staff should be on top of things and monitor the patrons intake or at least take them aside if they seem to appear "totally wasted" my friend normally has good composure when he goes out and he's quite regular at this bar so someone should have noticed something wasn't right :-(

By far the worst experience I've ever had at an establishment. Myself and 2 other patrons were choked and physically abused by a bouncer without provocation, simply because they do not accept an ID photo on a cellphone. I was personally choked and thrown down the stairs, none of the employees inside shakers bothered whether my friends and I were okay. We have attended shakers many times before as we are locals only ever had poor service as well as spiked drinks.

Shakers... an old Ballito stand-by for those looking for a great club vibe but are out of varsity... there's definitely a mix of ages to be found here, but their old school remixes and songs will definitely make 80s and 90s kids happy! Decent drinks and a nice balcony looking at the sea give it a great atmosphere... pool tables provide alternate entertainment for those not looking for a dance floor. Overall, a decent place to spend a Friday or Saturday night.

Staff are really friendly and efficient, and there is a good vibe. Play pool, dance or just chill with friends old and new, its a Ballito local social must.

Good place to watch some sports, have some drinks and have banter with friends, and also meet other locals. The food is not good, just come there full and have drinks.

Situated on the beachfront in Ballito, Shakers is great venue to visit if you are in the mood to let your hair down. From a couple of drinks and a game of pool to a thumping party and dance floor. Fir pool players yhere are tournaments every week. Food available. There is ample parking with security.
