What an amazing atmosphere...staff are so helpful. It's the perfect Spur to visit should you want to catch up with old friends...where good food and company is shared in the most friendliest environment.
This is my favourite Spur Branch in Durban...sort of isolated in a perfect location, away from the hustle and bustle of busy malls. We have visited this Spur so many times and the consistency with their service and food is fantastic. Every single time I left this Spur, it was a feeling of complete satisfaction. Well done guys. This Spur branch is the best.

Great waiters and environment and food. Good kids area with jungle gym, table soccer and gaming machines.
Can watch hockey from the restaurant if match is on.
Close to shopping and tourism destinations

We were dying for Spur as you do. Staff were not interested in serving...spent more time chatting around the slush puppy machine and flicking through magazines. Food was way underdone and red....for well done. Changed the burger and just took it home as a take away to cook the steak properly. Manager was not slightly concerned when it was brought to his attention. Pity! Used to be that South African favourite.

Oh my gosh!! Service very slow. One takes the order, then decides the other will have to do it. We landed giving our order to three different waiters. It took for ever for he meal to arrive. Slow for the follow up pudding to arrive

Worst restaurant I've ever been to. Took ages to get served. Cutlery was filthy. Food looked like it was left overs taken off someone else plate. Atmosphere is stifling and the set up is claustrophic. The cappucino tasted like it was mixed with dish water. Several staff trying to take away crockery and cutlery from us whilst eating. Spur is definitely not legendary any longer. Will never go to any Spur again because of this horrible experience. If I could give it zero stars I would.

Had a birthday dinner here and was amazed at the service from Lungi(our waitress). Serving 18 hungry people was done effortlessly and the pre-meal drinks, mains and desserts were brought in at the right time. The vibe was chilled and to be honest, the chargrilled rump I order was done to perfection. Well done Lungi and management. Keep it up.
