We booked an overnight trip to Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve with Coastal u0026 Country Touring through Shelldon Wells. The trip experience was fantastic from start to finish. Shelldon was very punctual and picked us up at our accommodation in Umdloti Beach exactly the time we agreed to before embarking on our drive to Hluhluwe. During the drive, Shelldon provided us with very entertaining and fascinating information about the history of Durban and the Zulu culture and made the 2 hour trip fly by. He also helped check us into our rondavel accommodations and ensured that everything went smoothly at the Hilltop Camp. During the game drives Shelldon showcased his impressive knowledge and expertise on African wildlife species and behavior. My dad and I absorbed Shelldon’s vast knowledge like a sponge and felt like we learned so much about Hluhluwe and the resident wildlife. We could not have asked for a better guide for our first African safari experience and we came away with so many amazing memories and photos that we’ll enjoy for the rest of our lives. We enthusiastically recommend booking a trip with Coastal u0026 Country Touring and we’ll definitely be back to book with them again next time we’re in South Africa!

I strongly recommend Shelldon at Country and Coastal touring, what a fantastic experience we had. I booked a week with Shelldon for my mum and I on the recommendation of friends that had experienced his company last year. He did not disappoint. He put an itinerary together to suit our needs and totally blew my mum's expectations away. She'd never done safari and I really wanted this to be a trip of a lifetime.

Communication with Shelldon from the UK was easy, booking and payment all sorted, and there were no hidden extras or naff tourist trap shops like we've experienced on other company organised tours.

Shelldon was a perfect host. He had to deal with a fragile runner (I'd completed Comrades 2 days earlier), upset tummies and creaking bones (all self inflicted I hasten to add). Nothing was too much trouble, and most things were thought of before we even thought it ourselves.

As for the reserves, tremendous. Lion, buffalo, elephants, rhino, giraffe, wild dog to name a few. What made it extra special was Shelldon's enthusiasm, he was almost jumping out of his seat seeing the dogs and cats. In fact, he drove back to the ranch drag me out to see the wild dogs, after id been a bit poorly earlier that day, I am very grateful, what a beautiful experience.

In summary, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Country and Coastal tours, especially Shelldon.

We have been recommending Sheldon to our guests for many years but only recently decided to utilise his services for a family getaway. Sheldon was professional and very knowledgeable. He organised everything for us, handled all the bookings and ensured we were well looked after. I will definitely continue to recommend Country u0026 Coastal to our guests and will use his services again.

We had a fantastic trip to Hluhluwe Game Reserve and St. Lucia. Shelldon took really good care of us - he went out of his way to accommodate our needs and was fun to hang out with too. And we saw lots of animals!!

Went to the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park with my colleagues from abroad.. I was extremely impressed with Sheldon's wealth of knowledge on Durban's history and wildlife.. I learned so much new history about my city.. Will be booking a tour again.. Highly recommend cc touring.
