Baba's tikka(reservoir hills)

My first visit to Baba’s after seeing some positive reviews. Ordered a family meal consisting of a full chicken, 4 roti with chips and salad.

Ordered take away on Sunday evening and the waiting time for the order was around 30 minutes.

The chicken itself was very disappointing. I ordered mild but there was literally no taste to the chicken. In addition, it was dripping with oil! Why would you need such copious amounts of oil for chicken tikka? The salad was haphazardly made. The only positive was the roti which was freshly made and had a lovely taste.

Very reasonably priced at R140 for the family meal but I won’t be rushing back.

Broad beans roti roll is one of my favorites at Babas. Fresh, minimal oil, generous size portions, tastes good and reasonably priced.

Finding little gems like this is what I do, awesome food great service. Choose mild or hot their Tikka chicken is the best. The butter Naan was excellent

By far one of the best chicken Tikka places I have ever been to. Absolutely flavourful, unbelievably tasty, good size portions, if you like hot, try the extra hot, it's awesome...
