The only good thing about this place is the Eisbein and roast potatoes. If you want to eat veggies go somewhere else unless you are happy with heated up frozen mixed vegetables.
The waitress is rude and surly. You have to be out by 8 pm. The gates are locked then. Never again

I am an affectionate customer. I love this place. The atmosphere and the stuff are lovely. My wife and I, we really enjoy every time we go. They make every supper special.

internet states they close at 8pm well we arrived at 6:50pm the waitress was rude unwelcoming and rushed us the whole time. My partner had the ribs which is the whole reason for going there as he enjoys their ribs. well the waitress cleared the bowl for the bones and the bowl to clean his hands while he was still eating!! Service was appalling and has put me off ever returning to them again. If you advertise you close at 8pm, why were we rushed out at 7:40pm.

Today I ordered two eisbein take aways. We received 2 miniscule eisbein at a cost of R220. An absolute rip off. I live around the corner and I shall never support this establishment again!

Excellent Chicken Peri Peri pie.. Very well worth the visit. Service is a bit lacking, but if you accept that then you will have an excellent time

Always a good time at the bar. Perfect for a couple to sit down and drink together and just talk, we often lose track of the time at Black Forest. Love it.

Great staff,amazing food,ice cold beer,good music and a completely relaxed aura... I will always go back again as my father (Lamb chops) does!
