Thoroughly unpleasant experience

I needed to do a sim swap as my phone was stolen, CellC stores are required as per their own company policy to give you an un-ricad sim card that you can use to do this through their call centre.

the Davenport store outright refused to give me the new sim card, I even had them speaking to the call centre and they refused. the reason given "The Owner doesnt allow this anymore".

They also claimed that they are not actually a Cellc store but in fact a franchise???

They wasted my time, as well as my money. whats more, it is an embaressment. I felt like I had done something wrong.

I was then forced to drive across town in traffic to the Cellc store in overport centre, the staff their gave me a sim card immediately and within 5 minutes I had completed the sim Swap

Bought home connecta data and the lady that was helping me, informed that the data expires after 30days but said it rolls over to the next month so essentially “verbatim “she said it’s valid for 60days. I made a point of asking questions about the validity of the data and expiration.
A month later “30 days” my data expires I call cell c they tell me it doesn't automatically roll over for the additional 30 days I need to activate the roll over.
I go back to the shop and she says sorry! there must’ve been a miscommunication but she’s sure she tells all her customers to activate the roll over 7days before it expires.
I made a POINT of asking for all the necessary information and questioned her about how this works! not once did she say to me I need to activate the roll over! I’ve only used 40% of my data and the other 60% goes to waste!!! And all I get is sorry from the shop.

What ever you do . Stay away . R14000.00 BILL FOR A COUPLE OF MEGS OF DATA AND THEY WONT SORT IT OUT . SHOULD CALL YOURSEVES HELLC

Worst service ever, I had to wait in a wine for 44minutes only to be served, the team are busy for nothing , I won’t recommend anyone to that branch worst worst worst
