We didn't stay over but had a corporate function. The setting and architecture is beautiful. We had the buffet which had a good variety and was quite tasty. Loved the salads! Overall a great experience.

Absolutely beautiful, very warm happy welcome, relaxing and spacious outdoors tranquil setting with friendly helpful staff and quick service.
Very inviting lounges with delightful cosy nooks.
Enjoyed a delicious, succulent seafood platter.Easily accessible, quiet, safely guarded area.
Highly recommended for weddings and special events, accommodation is available.

This timeless mansion, with a merge between what you would expect to find on an Island, a bit of Tuscany feel and a slice of Cape town: is on a quite road, tugged away within this leafy surbub. Emakhosini: the gathering of kings (and Queens) boasts spacious rooms, some downstairs others upstairs, making for a business or leisure stay. You may want to peek into their wine cellar, for private dinner arrangements, or their pool area, on a calm evening.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Accommodation was good. However, disappointed with the limited menu of the hotel restaurant and the fact that there was no breakfast buffet. Even more disappointed with the terrible noise caused by loud dance music from within the hotel on Friday night. This continued till very late into the night, making it very difficult to sleep.

Its a beautiful place but the room smelled like mold, the air conditioner didn't really work, worse in the morning the staff were screaming at each other fighting over who left the bin where and they woke us up so early and one kept banging the door it was so irritating.

I stayed here for over a week, the rooms look great and spacious but the cleaner has an attitude and never cleans under the hand basin. The owners of the place are not welcoming at all. They don't even greet their guests and that shows on the staff. When the staff is not treated well, they don't treat well the guests too
