Great outlet for fruit and veg. Good specials on combo deals. Spacious store layout, clean, neat and tidy. Helpful staff. Great bakery and also a butchey section as well. They also have a flower stand. Conveniently located inside the centre with lots of open free parking. Wheel chair friendly.

Although one of the bigger fruit and veg stores the pricing of basic food and vegetables is extremely high for this chain. I have sourced cheaper better quality items in and around the greater overport area where prices for the basic fruit and vegetables are highly competitive. Even with the rising costs of petrol , energy etc food lovers has no excuse for a bigger chain with bigger buying power to have competitive pricing.On the positive the store is always well stocked and neat. Staff are always helpful. Plenty parking with car guards.

Generally get sausages- amazing variety of flavours . Turbo being the hot flavour is the best.
Bought lamb from here as well.. enjoyed it.
Good clean and lots of groceries/ bakery stuff

I love this store for the butchery and for their specials so I'm always popping in after work.

Two issues that I have is 1. Two family members have fallen victim to being pickpocketed instore so perhaps security needs to be more present instore.
2. The bakery makes such lovely things but its all left open on display. This seems to be a common theme in all Food Lovers stores and I find it to be absolutely unpleasant and unsanitary. As a result I don't ever purchase anything from the bakery. Surely there has to be a more hygienic way of storing these while still looking good.

Other than that, fantastic store!

The best fruit ever. The promotions the best.
Bought blue berries at such a reasonable price.
Every vegetable was so fresh.

Feta cheese. Yoghurts made by food lovers .
No brown rolls like all other branches.
Meat only mutton,fish and chicken by Nagiah. No other meats.
It was so good shopping here.
The parking lot was being tarred.
Other food lovers have a very popular take away at the back eg La lucia Mall.
This was my first visit.
Price labeling needs attention.
You ask the workers . They give you a price and when you go to the till,it is another price.

Over all I enjoyed my ???? shopping.
It was so good. The bargains. Hope to go there again soon.

Nice place with plenty of parking and inside the cashiers are friendly. Fresh vegetables and fruits everyday at a low cost and combos are good for big families like mine.

Was on holiday in Durban and went to buy veg and fruit at Foodlovers Springfield and was blown away with all the veggies especially the Indian veggies. They have a butchery department managed by Nagiah's that is outstanding. Was impressed by the fish department too. Got some fresh Cape Salmon and Musselcracker.
