Can l just say ,what a lovely hotel and the staff are just wonderful .arrived on Saturday morning after a 26hr flight to find out that payment from our work never went through well the girls on the reception went through hoops to make sure we had everything sorted for myself and my work colleagues. What stars they all were so a big shout out to Dimakatso Phumelele Thandeka and last but not least Nosihle. Hilton should be so proud of you all ,you made a situation so bad feel like it was all smooth sailing. Thank you again Cathy

Hilton is a good 5 star hotel close to Darban ICC and good place for a tourist and you can even walk to sea-side easily and shop restaurant even place cold Work-Shop where you can find lots of shops and come visit Darban in Kzn, and fill happy moments with you.

Was there on the 23rd of Mar 2021 u0026 it was closed. No activity at all around the complex.
I happen to speak to a garden contractor u0026 he says only next year they'll be open.
Then today I look at the reviews u0026 some people have been inside in the last week or two.
@Hilton please update your listing here for the public to know exactly what's going on with your venue.

Not bad. Doorman was super friendly and made us feel welcome. Definitely worth booking / upgrading to the executive floors. Better views and access to the business lounge. Aircons weren’t too great.

In general very pleased. The staff were very professional and friendly and made me feel welcome. Room is great and super quiet. Unfortunately the food / catering wasn't great - the buffet was very average and not cheap at around R300+ not many choices and food quality not 5 star hotel grade. Couldn't order a la Carte as there was a "function" and they advised it would take more than an hour to prepare a meal. Pool was also very green and not swimmable.

The room was nice but the food was extremely disappointing. We paid R300 per head for the buffet at dinner and there was almost no options to choose from. Same with the breakfast... no butter for the bread and only a few things to choose from. Very disappointing for a 5 star hotel. We had better food at a 3 star hotel in KZN.
