Their half price sushi on a Wednesday is definitely worth it. Absolutely love their prawn avalanches

I ordered sushi to be delivered by Mr. Delivery.
What a disappointment. The sushi pieces were very small and some of the pieces had overcooked prawn.
I also realised that John Dory's and Real Sushi is the same place.

Generally staff are very pleasant but yesterday our waitress wasn't. The Sushi does not taste fine anymore, there's more rice than anything else. No flavour. Fast and efficient service. Onion rings are massive... Don't like it... Oily. Otherwise the food is great. But I still prefer Suncoast. Quality and taste there is so much better. The atmosphere there is also great.

Three of us had the queen prawns, which were on special- they were absolutely delicious and good value for money. My son also enjoyed the calamari. My daughter had sushi- was good, as usual. Service was good and our meals arrived fairly quickly.

We ordered a milkshake (salted caramel) when it arrived the cream was sour, when we complained we were told okay then we will have to have the milkshake without the cream (still charged the same though). The place was not busy but we had to wait a long time for everything. Just the whole overall experience was not good. I have frequented this particular John Dory's many times and there is definitely a drop in the quality of food and service.

Good. Overall, things are relatively good here in terms of value for money. I did, however, wait a while for my sushi as I asked for them without sauce. When my order finally came (the people sitting with me were almost 75% done with their cooked full meals) - one of the pieces still had sauce on and I had to send it back and wait further. The management is usually walking around and making sure everyone is okay.
