Kebabish Overport

Unfortunately my experience of CHINESE chow mein from Kebabish overport was a disaster. What was delivered to me was definetly NOT chow mein. It was just a chicken noodle stir fry. If you open pictures you will see loads of black pepper, it was actually overpowering and so as the salt. The oil at the bottom of the takeout container was yellow as you can see, probably from the use of curry powder or tumeric but deninitely NOT from using SOY SAUCE which is the basic for chow mein. I needed a microscope to see the tiny pieces of chicken that were added in there, tell me if you can see them. Basically their chicken noodle dish was not even close to an authentic chow mein. This taught me that sometimes its better to just buy chinese food from a chinese restaurant, that way you know there are no chancers...

I wish I could give y'all zero stars! I Ordered 1 breast piece chicken Tikka with butter Naan and chip with delivery and paid R106! I got ice cold food delivered after 50min! The portion was so small, there was literally just 15 pieces of potato chips! I'm soo disappointed. It's really not worth the hype. When I phoned in to complain immediately they said the food left the restaurant as soon as it was done maybe the delivery distance made the food cold. My house is less than 800m from their restaurant. Extremely disappointed and unsatisfied!

Second time buying from the restaurant, thought I’d get better food but nope ????!!

Today I ordered a bunny and it was Leaking and bread was VERY soggy. The carrot salad was not it but just about 5 onion rings I think and when I opened the packaging it smelt quite unpleasant.
I’m not one to complain but I’m disappointed ????

As I'm bit of a fast food critic In my opinion it's not the best place to eat out. I had the unpleasant experience of the owners charging us for the takeaway containers. Customer service and hygiene should at the highest point at any fast food outlet.

Ordered butter chicken curry which tasted nice but had 3 small chicken cubes. Portion is very disappointing. Please improve on the portion. I could have bought a whole cooked Woolworths chicken for less. Try improve

This place used to be amazing. It was a quiet evening when we arrived. The waitress took our oder from the 4 of us, and went off.....

And off....she was gone....

45mins later, our food arrives, after 2 enquiries. I ordered the mixed grille platter. The cubes of chicken were fine, except that u would get Tikka cubes and malai cubes. There were no malai cubes...

I wasn't prepared to wait for them to get it right...so I ate on. Get to the main piece of chicken....the Tikka breast....what a disappointment. I ordered extra hot...it was barely hot....but the underside surely had its fair share of heat...cos it was charred black.

Again, I didn't bother to complain cos I wasn't about to be the one to poop everyone else's party. However....the table next to us did become very vocal about their wait....over an hour...

Very disappointing indeed.

They could not give price at the first time, they took the order and than when we asked how much will the order come too, they said they will phone back, but we had to phone back multiple times to confirm and we ordered mild food but when the food arrived the food was extremely uneatable because it had extra hot spice and it was really hot and the milkshake was absolutely terrible there was more cream than actual milk, syrup and ice cream , kebabish overport should not waste their time and and its customers time, they service is absolutely terrible, I would not buy from them again
