My go to Chinese restaurant in Musgrave. The food is delicious. The Peking duck is served with pancakes, hoisin sauce, scallions, cucumber and carrots. The duck meat is juicy and the back skin is crisp and delicious. Another favourite is the grilled pork dumplings. Served with chilli soy sauce, these juicy dumplings are packed with flavour and encased in thin dumping wrappers. The noodle dishes are all made with egg noodles. I recommend the BBQ pork noodle. The BBQ isn't the sauce but rather the style of cooking. In Chinese, it's called char-sui and it's filled of smokey flavour. A must try if you love Chinese food.

We often get takeaways here and love the food. The sweet and sour pork, bbq pork chow mein and cashew chicken are firm favourites. I especially like that they use lots of fresh vegetables in their stir frys

One of the best authentic Chinese cuisine restaurants in Durban. Healthy eating at affordable prices. Extremely generous portions.

Mei Xin restaurant is a fantastic venue! While the decor is functional and somewhat sparse, the service is friendly and prompt. Most importantly though, the food is excellent. The sweet and sour is possibly one of the best in Durban! Definitely recommend for either take away or a sit down meal

Very good service. Courteous and helpful. Goods well packed. Made fresh too while you wait. Only disappointing thing is that they don't make sushi! I especially chose them because I thought I will get sushi there.

I've eaten here a couple times. And the Peking duck is my favorite. A definite must. They do an amazing fried whole fish as well. And pretty good dumplings as well. I'm sitting in the south coast at the moment craving that duck now!

The food is always excellent. Being going for years. Eat in or takeaway. ????????
