Came all the way from Scottburgh to have what we expected to be a nice lunch (based on previous reviews on this website) We had hake and chips, the potatoes were still raw and the fish was just edible. We were looking for this place to be our go-to shop for our fish supplies. Can only say that our time and fuel was a big waste

The service that I received today from the guy at this place gave me A+ service. I forgot to ask his name but he gave me what and how I wanted my fish to be prepared and sliced. If he is there the next time I will only deal with him.

The samoosas and other pastries are really good and the place is clean with top quality products at very reasonable prices. They also have a small sit down area to enjoy a quick snack, all prepared fresh in the shop's kitchen on site.A bit off the beaten track but well worth the visit if you want good, fresh seafood

I was very disappointed at the Sushi bar. There was no menu . I was directed to get the menu from the till. I was directed back to the sushi bar with out a menu. There was huge flies sitting all over the prep area. Will definitely not recommend this unhygenic fish shop.

Atrocious customer service. Firstly no sign to indicate that the usual tills were closed. Then i go to the till at the deli and the lady cashing refused to serve me and sends me to a third till. I get called back to the deli till and the same cashier is arguing with another customer who was saying this wasnt the first time he had poor service. Manager and owner were called, they apologised after all the damage was done so I left telling them both I would never set foot in their store again.

Today I was asked to pay for +100g extra of cape cob that was prices at R180/kg!
The lady at the back explained that it is by order of management. Luckily I asked her to weigh it again where I could see the scale. For 0.75kg at seafood hyper the cob/salmon was R152
Went to Epsoms and got 2kg for R150.00

Teach your staff and management to be honest esp regarding weight! Consumers pay you expecting you to have weighed it correctly. There is no way that the package lost 100g out of 850g being cut!
