It was the first time I visited this little gem with my toddler, absolutely beautiful! Great staff, knowledgeable. A wide variety of birds. Clean and neat park. Nice wide open spaces for kids. A lovely little play area to keep the kids entertained. Left the bird park with new insight and absolute respect for wildlife and those who care for these animals. They had an interactive bird show as well it was wonderful and informative. Guide was impressive ????

The bird park is absolutely lovely. The birds are treated well and allowed to go free and come back at will.
The staff are incredible and friendly.
I gave the staff R50 to buy coke but the choose to donate the money to the birds instead of having coke for themselves.
This shows they love these birds.
I highly recommend you visit the place.
The bird show is informative and funny and u get to interact with the birds.

The place is old and certain parts are falling apart so it needs more people to visit so pall can be rebuild and maintained.

Food at Cafe is mediocre at best. It's just a place for a quick snacks.

Overall experience is wonderful the birds repeat and say hello and laugh and act crazy is a must see if u in Durban.

Price is reasonable R67 for adults and R39 pensioners and 25 for kids

The urgent River bird park is a great place to take children. The entrance fee is very affordable. And it included an hour bird show FOR FREE!!! There is a Cafe that sells food.. at very reasonable prices. Try to get there before 2 pm. As the bird show is every day at 2 pm.

We had so much fun at the bird park. There was one bird that was talking and even doing what sounded like an evil laugh. It was hilarious. My kids couldn't stop laughing. The bird show was really enjoyable and the staff was great and also funny. We really enjoyed every moment. It's an awesome place to take your kids.

Well worth the visit. Nice display of a variety of birds. All well kept and healthy birds.

Interactive bird show is a definite highlight. Excellent, informative handlers. Bird flights are up close and personal. So have to be prepared for some close encounters.

Beautiful refreshing waterfall at the cafe to relax after the show.

Would definitely add to any list of to do's in Durban. Safe parking as well.

The birdpark and cages are clean,beautiful and adventures. The bird show was brilliant, informative and special. I highly recommend it for pensioners, adults and children!!!!

What an amazing experience. Animals are well looked after and looks happy. Very nice birdshow. Will definitely recommend for a nice family outing.
