We came for the mothers day buffet. It cost R395 per person which is slightly pricey, but the food was really worth it.

There is a indoor pool on the first floor, seriously excellent design. There is a guest outdoor pool on the 10th floor, that's quite nice.

On the 18th floor (the top one) there is a lovely view on first sight, then if you follow and go in the doors, there is a conference center and if you go even further, you will see a roof view (don't worry, its safe).

There are no parking facilities for the restaurant except across the road. when I went to the hotel parking then I was told that I must ask reception nicely and maybe "they will make a plan" for me. Outside of the restaurant is extremely dangerous at night!
The hotel floors are not clean. They are absolutely sticky and gross. The toilet facilities are also not clean! There are weird smells in there.

We had a buffet. The food was far from tasty. Only the dessert was okay. Most of the foods were over cooked.

There are things on the menu, like the iced coffee, that they do not serve anymore. One waiter says they do serve it and the other waiter says otherwise.

We were celebrating a birthday event there and my guests were not impressed. We spent well over R3000.

I would not reccomend this place.

Lovely buffet evening. Great selection of food . Coffee / tea are added Into the price . Other drinks are separate. Waitrons are meticulous in their care of you . 5/5 stars in my opinion

There is no substitute for a good smile and you will have to go far to find anything warmer than young Zweli looking after you in this restaurant. Added to his warm, friendly professionalism his nice thank you, as I left, set him apart from the other waiters in the restaurant.

Visited the Versailles Restaurant a few days before Christmas and service was terrible. We were one of the first people to arrive for the evening buffet and our drinks were taken. Our waiter disappeared and we only received our drinks before dessert! We asked other waiters if they could assist us and they kept saying they'll look for our waiter instead of assisting us. Eventually one of us had to go downstairs to the bar to buy our drinks.

The lady behind the carvery was rude and didn't explain what type of meat was available. There also weren't any lables by any of the other dishes, and we had to ask what type of meat was in each dish.

When it came time for us to leave, we asked the waiter if we need to pay at the front and he said no. As soon as we took out a card to pay, he says we need to go to to the front. The lady standing at the front had also disappeared, and we wait to wait once again.

The only reason I'm giving this restaurant a 2 star rating instead of 1, is because the food was okay. I won't return because of the service.
