After an exploration of the Durban promenade this little Cafe/restaurant popped up and mind you Durban was sizzling hit yesterday. As we arrived, we were greeted by David and our drinks orders taken, we had really only come in to quench our thirst. David explained to us that they had revamped and gave us a quick run down or happy hour specials and the buffet special at their new breakfast spot right at the top of the Bellaire hotel called Sunset Lounge. Overall experience was great and now we have a new spot for drinks and breakfast.

Beautiful place with nice and affordable food. If they can just consider getting more staff members so that their service can be fast.

Most beautiful experiences. Very friendly and helpful staff. Most beautifully presented food and drinks. Be it just a cappuccino , or a scrumptious romantic dinner, one will never be disappointed. Situated on the promenade. Comfortable seating inside or outdoors.

Cocktail was decent (a bit strong but it's not often that a bar offers more spirits than dash). Food however was absolutely pathetic. Everything tasted like it was cooked ages ago and just got microwaved. The "fried" fish we ordered had clear evidence of microwaving (looked like a microwaved fish finger with some damp spots in the crust). The wings were hot on one side, and cold on another. Chips were very dry and stale. We had to discard the horrible food after a few bites here and there. We had gotten takeaways. Maybe dining in is better but I wouldn't put my money on it.

Jiran has the best coffee in the country. Hands down. Food menu is awesome, staff always friendly. Be sure to get extra friendly Veli to serve you.

Staff very friendly. Coffee good. Food was ghastly and expensive.

Great coffee and a superb menu throughout the day....more especially their freshly squeezed fruit juices.
