The posh decor gives off an aristocratic vibe... but the food is so well priced you could mistake the menu for the local bowling club. Only R250 for a large plate of prawns on Wednesdays.

Great views of the mountains, and a hidden gem in George. The food is good and the service is equally great, clean restaurant, well prised dishes. Can't wait to visit again, the Prawn Wednesdays were a treat!!!

Great venue, I love the idea of sitting in a lounge having a chat and a lovely glass of your preference. When your order is ready you are directed to your table where a guaranteed delightful meal awaits you. The waitrons are very friendly and George the chef always delights us with his food. My favourite venue in George!

We had the most awesome meal at De Hoft. Service are 5 star as well as the food. Would recommend this place to anyone enjoying beautiful scenery and tranquility.

What a lovely evening out and with the most amazing view! Two waiters who are on the ball ran the restaurant perfectly, our dinner was devine (salad to start u0026 mains steak and veg) wine also reasonably priced with great selection. Will return!!
