Excellent venue facility!!

The crew at Houtbosch wines u0026 Craft beer made our bachelorette party go down a very special event. Stunning surroundings in the Redberry farm centre, this venue not only offers fabulous wine u0026 gin tasting but also delectable platters.

I did the fudge pairing with Gin... wow! The biltong one looked good as well. The vibe and service was also good and needed up having a few more drinks. Well worth checking in!

We visited the venue today, beautiful setting but the service was terrible. We are patient people but we waited 40min before we were served and waited another 90min before we received our order. I went inside 3 times to ask the waiter if he can at least bring us something to drink we ordered earlier but received an answer "We are understaffed and we had to wait". We will not visit Houtbosch Wine u0026 Craft again.

Strangest worst service ever??!! The most significant concern is the dishonest feedback during the experience. With 8 pax at table, we received 1st meal after very very long wait, about 20 minutes later the 2nd, 10 minutes later the 3rd and very long wait for the next….close to 2 hours. During this process the feedback was in hindsight stalling techniques to mask the fact small kitchen cannot cope and they ran out of ingredients ie cheese. “We had to rush across town to buy cheese”. Really???!!!!
