Without a doubt my favourite store to do grocery shopping. Their prices are by far better than the other Pick 'n Pay outlets in town. Their staff are ALWAYS friendly and smiling. They love to share a joke and makes you feel like family.

Trading hours are very convenient as they are open to 8pm, so there's no rush to get to the shop directly after work.

They also have a great take away section with a wide selection of foods to choose from. So for those loadshedding days, or when you don't feel like cooking, drop by and grab a nice hearty wholesome home cooked meal.

Having a tyme bank account is one thing, having to withdraw cash is a complete fcukup because they never have enough money. Maybe they should leave banking to real professionals that have the cash immediately available.

Shocking - on average R 5 plus more expensive than Spar….

Pick and Pay Precap Centre is an independently owned franchise. The shop is clean and prices are reasonable.

Pick and pay has a wide variety of products from fresh fruits and vegetables, to butchery and bakery items. The freezer section is fully stocked with precooked meals, tv dinners and ice cream.

The staff are friendly and helpful and is truly a family shopping experience

Their ready made food is the worst choice you could ever make!!
I first bought myself their chicken curry and it had an awful smell. The second time I opted for a different meal which was their pap and vors and that was my biggest regret, their pap tasted like morning porridge with vinegar and even worse lumpy!!! I couldn't take it any longer when I decided to bite their vors! I literally threw up as you can tell it's been off for quite a while!

I'm so disappointed!

If I have to choose 1 store (even out of all the big retailers) it will be this small PnP. Always variety in everything you're looking for - from fruit u0026 veg to pizza bases and vegan meat alternatives. Always a great experience and super happy to support them. We'll done to the family and team behind the scene.
