Friendly staff, good service, very professional. I went for the date night special which is great value for money. Food is delicious, but unfortunately my steak was burned on the outside, almost seemed like it was grilled on direct fire for too long, had a burned taste especially on the edges. I would still recommend Hassar Grill George, as I believe this is not how they normally grill steaks.

So there we were trying to decide where to go for dinner. We picked the Hussar because their food is always okay.

Boy were we in for a surprise. The steaks were mouthwateringly tender. Cooked to perfection and the Moutarde sauce was amazing.

The fish was soo good, the onions were crunchy and not greasy.

Definitely a place to go again. The only slight downside was that the service was a bit slow.

Upon arrival we experienced great hospitality, the place was full and we were accomodated without a reservation ????????.

Quality service, great food, good wine

Compliments to the Chef ????u200d????. The steaks were perfect.

Fantastic place for great food.
The steaks and pork belly were cooked to perfection: succulent and flavourful. The sides are a decent portion and also well cooked.
Service is warm and friendly, with attentive staff to your needs.
The seats are comfortable and the restaurant has a formal but homely feel.
Would highly recommend!

An overall good experience. The ambience is great and so is the service. Other people in our group had steaks which were very good. I, on the other hand, had the pork belly which was not that great, the sauce was somewhat overpowering, but that might only be my personal taste.

Good service, a pleasant atmosphere (although all the boxes and empty bottles stacked on top of the shelves is a bit odd) and tasty food on offer. We had a cozy and pleasant experience on a miserable, wet winter's day. This will probably become a regular stop on our Garden Route visits.

The food was super delicious also the house wine. Our waitress Eudene was extraordinary friendly and has given us really good advice in terms of wine paring for the food and also answered us all the questions we had about the food (beef). The atmosphere in the restaurant was cosy and classy - perfect for a date night :-)
