MY wife and daughter chose the Gateway Hotel to host my Birthday function. What a beautiful choice the Menu had something for everyone . Great value for money. Affordable. The staff were very pleasant and always courteous and helpful.

Spend Christmas day in Durban. Gateway hotel was perfect for us. Clean rooms and great bar for late night cocktails. Breakfast was great too. Nothing was too much to ask for. Thanks guys

Average.Old fashioned, Fairly cheap,no aircons. A "Motel" would do this place some justice, "Hotel" is a bit exaggerated.

looks can be deceiving.. clean room, comfy bed and pillows. lovely staff. good hot shower..
