Being Italian and having traveled extensively throughout Italy many times I feel well-placed to review the deli and the restaurant at Cremalat Cheese. A trip to the deli is a real treat for the senses and there are all sorts of wonderful Gastronomic delights straight from Italy! The selection of products is amazing and the brands they bring in are all authentic and top of their class.
The in-house bakery is also great.
I absolutely adore their cheese selection - the fresh ricotta and the creamy mozzarella are divine!
No visit to the deli is complete without lunch at the restaurant La cucina @Cremalat, and the compact menu means that all food is freshly prepared and that each dish featured has been properly mastered by the chef.
I always try to select one of the specials of the day and have not had one mediocre meal there yet.
The Lamb Ragu pasta is delicious, and the vitello tonnato (veal is not easy to find in SA!) is out of this world - fresh and delicate but full of flavour.
Vito and Margaret always make sure that guests are well taken care of and the personal touch ensures that every meal is a winner.
By far the most authentic Italian food I have tasted in Joburg!

What an amazing place. It's situated in a business park which is kinda unexpected but the experience didn't disappoint. Must check out if you're a pasta lover. The ingredients are so fresh.. portion sizes are generous.. and the taste is unmatched.. the service was super amazing... The owner is hands on and very helpful.. definitely 5 stars..will absolutely be going again. The cannolis wet super fresh and delicious.

DELICIOUS authentic Italian cuisine! Generous servings and warm friendly staff dedicated to making your stay as enjoyable as possible. We had plenty of food left over to take home afterwards. The deli and store has a very wide range of Italian products to to choose from! Definitely worth the visit!

This is a hidden gem (okay not so hidden) but food is great and the deli is very interesting with a delicious selection of cured meats and cheeses! Had to take a few things home. Great lunch at the restaurant but you should book.

Great place in an unlikely spot - factories and warehouses around. Great once inside. Safe parking. Boomed off area. The staff were pleasant and friendly and the food was delicious.
Will definitely recommend this place.
There is a shop with all their wonderful products as well.

Took my mom there for an experience. Lady at cheese counter was super knowledgable and gave us taste testers, of which we bought each cheese we tried. Cashier was super friendly. We coming back soon to try the restaurant
