Lovely spot to have breakfast. Not our 1st time at this restaurant. This weekends experience however was not the greatest. Food took extra long to arrive, it was quiet and we had arrived just after 8am. Sent meals back, was cold. Returned hot, was yummy. Waitress was not very helpful to be honest, seemed to be in her own world. Some improvements needed here.

I am sure I had a When Harry met Sally restuarant experience. O la la. I had the rye with Salmon, cottage cheese and capers sandwich. Wow. Ansolutely fabulous!!

Wow.

That was the best way to describe the experience. The shop is neat and well maintained. The staff are prompt and friendly. The ambiance is amazing, especially for the Latin American music playing on the day I was there.

My meal was more than I bargained for and the meat was amazing. I loves the onions that came with my breakfast, it is something that is overlooked by some establishments.

Theme is well established. The Portuguese theme is married beautifully with the local vibe. Rarely have I met a place that makes me give five stars first time.

It's a pity I can't give them more stars to offset some of the negative reviews I've seen which aren't fair.

I always come here during load shedding and they never chase me from my spot even if I only order a single coffee for the 2-4 hour duration that I'm at the restaurant. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the managers are always out and about asking if everything is 100% and you are happy.

The food is pretty good, and I can definitely attest to the fact that they get their cakes and pastries fresh every morning. Coffee is also pretty solid, and their BemBom coffee with condensed milk is delicious.

Would recommend as a nice place to have a good coffee, work, or even have a meal with friends.

Amazing atmosphere, friendly staff, top management, delicious food. More than just another coffee shop/restaurant. Here you become friends, and meet new friends. Whether it is for conducting business or just chill and sip on a large cup of brewed coffee, enjoy the best breakfast by far (my favorite is the Nacional) or tuck into a Beef Francesinhas (ask the kitchen to do it the 'Tony' way), you are always welcomed by the staff and management. Bembom Meadowdale is ideally located with ample parking and open 7 days a week. If you have not been to Bembom Meadowdale, you are missing out on a great experience.

Bembom Meadowdale is a little haven I’ve found! Apart from great food and service, it’s a place with a relaxed ambience where I can sit and work on my laptop during a busy day or simply relax and enjoy a meal. Top marks for attentiveness to detail which is a rare quality and normally only found in some fine dining establishments. Keep it up Bembom!

Just wanted to buy a cold drink over the counter. Ice tea R32 and R26 for a coke. Told me to pay restaurant prices. Declined and went to new shop around the corner. Paid R 33 for both. What a ripoff bembom
