- Unfriendly counter staff.
- Didn't get a Tartar sauce I paid for.
- Grilled Fish like rubber (threw it out).
- Calamari undercooked.
- Fried Hake ok, but tough.
- Chips edible.

Not going back there.
Take some pride in your restaurant. Hire the right people or do it yourself.

Affordable sea food. It would be great if they had more seating space inside. Nice sauces but you have to pay extra, not included in the meals. Good service.

I visited Fishtales in Humewood today. What a disappointment! The 3 staff members were so noisy and loud that I could hardly hear myself speak. The calamari was rubbery and definitely not freshly fried. Luckily the grilled hake was very tasty.

I'm from out of town and happened to stumble across the take away shop this evening. Great food , BUT the service was even better !
Nice to have a friendly happy smiling face assisting me with my order !

My five-year old and I both suffered symptoms of food poisoning after eating a portion of fish that was dry and had a strange aftertaste on 16 August. The calamari was so rubbery that my wife took one bite and refused to serve it. She didn't eat any fish. Coincidentally, only my daughter and I who did came down with symptoms of food poisoning including vomiting and nausea. We had a fair meal from this franchise previously. Now I'm never going back.

Fish and chips were ok, nothing to write home about. The fishcake was inedible because too much salt was used when making them. I'll definitely be looking for other fish options. Fishtales quality is below average imho.
