Had a great experience at the Radisson Blu in Port Elizabeth..
From check in to check out everyone went beyond the normal to make a person feel welcome ensuring they enjoyed their stay.
The bar and restaurant was a great experience with great food and drinks served.
The room was super clean, well appointed with fantastic views of Port Elizabeth's beachfront.
A really great choice for a break in Port Elizabeth.

This is not a bad hotel. Only down side is that there is nothing for your kids to do or enjoy at their hotel besides from the pool. Other than that their is no entertainment at their hotel to even keep us Adults entertained, as one cannot walk to any surrounding places to enjoy yourself. Therefore the hotel should consider in the future to do something for their guests, and to find a method on keeping all guests very satisfied in every way they possibly could. But other than that its is a lovely hotel to always return too again. Their family rooms are lovely compared to there single rooms, which isn't all that amazing.

Location- superb, view from the room was stunning. Woke up to a beautiful view of the beach like I've always dreamt of. Biggest asset of this property. Regarding the rooms - not bad, bed was comfy, mattress a bit soft but was OK in the end. Bathroom nice and big but only rain shower (not handy if as a woman you don't want yo wash your hair every day). Maintenance of the rooms was mediocre, the cabinets doors were skewed and falling off, the tile seams in the bathroom were dirty and scraping off, the shower doors were dirty from soap. It looked like it was cleaned on the surface but not cleaned properly. Breakfast was good though, rich variety, all egg options made freshly to your liking, good coffee. Dinner a la carte was bad, ordered a medium steak and got a hard well done piece. Veggies soaking in butter but at least that made them tasty ;) The salt u0026 pepper shakers were of bad quality, the pepper mill broke down during use and all pepper corns fell onto the dish. The server only said "shame" and walked away, not offering a new dish (we'd pay for it!). In generals the servers were nowhere to find, so couldn't order more drinks, lost sales opportunity. We even had to search for them to even pay the bill. So overall definitely not a good experience but amazing views from the room.

We were not escorted to our room even though we specifically mentioned that it was our first time there. We had to figure everything out on our own. The TV wasn't working. It kept freezing. The toilet made a funny noise the whole time and even though we complained it wasn't fixed. When they came to fix the light bulb in the bathroom that wasn't working they took a light bulb just outside our door to replace it which meant that the corridor stayed dark. The parking area at the basement was very unsafe, there was no security visible by the gate at all times. The pool area was even worse. The glass by the pool was very dirty. The menu needs a total revamp. The aircon was also not working, we needed to use the heater as it was cold and we had to ask for an extra blanket

We had a good stay over festive season. Rooms were big and service was good. It's a walking distance from the ocean which we enjoyed. We also visited a spa inside the hotel, this was enjoyable and relaxing.

Raddison never disappoints. There's always friendly staff. They are a bit pricey however but that's no surprise. Alot of areas for shopping and food are conveniently within its vicinity. The only thing that's kind of not great is their parking area. It's crammed, if you have a big car.. You're not going to enjoy the turns you have to make. The design for leaving the parking is super arched and you could easily bump into the pavement next to the gate due how slanted it is. Overall, it's a good place to stay. During the oh so terrible load shedding, there's only about 30 seconds before the lights come back on with their generators or whatever source of power they use with the limitation of just air conditioning. Not a train smash because their rooms are always cool in any case.

Pleasant hotel, but often a challenge to find parking.

Rooms are well appointed but maybe needs to be refreshed. Always great views and the staff is very friendly and helpful
