We really enjoyed this well maintained gem in Port Elizabeth. The staff are friendly and very welcoming. They go out of their way to make the stay more enjoyable. The rooms are modern yet rustic with a Typical Africa Theme. The location is perfect for a quiet walk to the beach or a quick pop into some really good restuarants. It is close to the Boardwalk Mall and Casino for all the Gamers. There is off street secure parking on offer too.The breakfast is brilliant and worth the extra charge. The entire experience is above normal and worth while time. I really enjoyed this little gem ..... companies can do conferences here too, check it out.

The lighting in the room was very poor u0026 some didn't work at all. No visible plugs for cell phone chargers available. No plug for the hairdryer. Only 2 channels available on DStv. Gardens are overgrown and need to be cut back. It's winter now and with the garden being so overgrown it makes it very cold. Air conditioner very noisy. Not a good stay at all.

Rooms and shared areas are typically afrikans. Love it.
Breakfast buffet really poor but breakfast menu available with amazing choice, plates well done.

This place is gorgeous!!! The rooms were clean and nothing like usual ones in lodges. The staff is super friendly and will go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. The breakfast served was delicious. We definetly would come back!!!

A sexy and secluded forest type resort right next to the beach? YES PLEASE!!!!
Singa is ideally located to the beach and is close to amenities. The room itself is super spacious with beautiful interior. The rooms are spaciously spaced out and allows for the kind of privacy each person wants. A great hideout and quiet place especially for those trying to escape the city. Can't wait to return

Staff are lovely. Breakfast was poor and fruit looked like it was from tins or frozen. Rooms are tired and bedding and towels smelt like they hadn't dried correctly. Bathroom all open and they were quiet but we were put in a room adjacent to the kitchen and the noise and banging was horrendous till midnight and from early morning 6am. The windows in the closet side opens onto the dust bins out back. In general better rather stay somewhere else.

What a great find! We were flying into PE and weren't arriving until 6pm so we didn't want anything too expensive as it literally was somewhere to lay our heads.
The staff were very friendly when we checked in.
We had a room upstairs and a room around the back. The rooms themselves were really lovely with a freestanding bath, lovely big shower, big bed, safe, tea and coffee facilities.
The wifi was fine. There is an honesty bar where you help yourselves to drinks and just make a note of what you've had then this is added to your bill.
The ONLY disappointing thing was the noisy staff the following morning from 6am. I thought maybe we were the only people to have picked up it but our friends made the same comment too. I appreciate the staff need to get things ready for breakfast but a bit of consideration for those who are possibly still sleeping wouldn't go amiss!
Breakfast was fine - egg, bacon, sausage... the usual suspects! If we returned to PE we would look to stay here as the location is very good ;-)
