Last two days of our magical South Africa trip were kept open and we booked our fabulous stay at Auberge Provence. From the first phone call to our actual stay was an absolute joy. We were greeted lovingly by Annie and her colleagues with one of the warmest and loveliest greetings ever followed by a high tea. Our balconies were ocean facing and we could see whales with their babies easily from the balcony from the naked eye. As we took the beautiful Cliff Trail located right outside the hotel, you would be greeted with more whales and dolphins and I saw several whales breaching. It was honestly magical and inexplicable. The hosts/staff were absolutely wonderful taking care of all of our needs from booking dinner reservations to activities and all the lovely thoughtful touches in between . I can’t thank all of them enough and Annie was especially a beautiful person and delightful. The hotel had five-star accommodations and they thought of everything. I highly recommend staying here and enjoying the beautiful guest house and delicious food that accommodated all of our dietary needs. What a thoughtful amazing place to stay. I can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful guest house with an excellent location. We had an exceptionally comfortable stay and got to make use of the jacuzzi which is always a bonus.

Loved the breakfasts! The quality of food along with the hot breakfast was absolutely perfect.

This is one of the best places to stay in South Africa. Warm, homey and a welcoming atmosphere. Amazing breakfast, great room with a lot of extras and the stay overall is just a treat. Anni was a great host!

Beautiful rooms with amazing views, can walk right on to the cliff top path, excellent breakfasts... List of wonderful aspects can go on and on. Our second time staying here and have loved every minute both stays.

Very beautifull hotel, in the provence style, decorated with love. It feels like being in France.
We were pampered by the team. Before arrival they arranged a whaletour and for diner a restaurant upon our request. Many thanks for that! The suite was big, with 2 bedrooms and a very big livingroom.
The view is also stunning, good for whalewatching.
Anni and Sonette and the team do really care for their guests!

Thank you so much for your warm welcome in your lovely Auberge! The sea view from our room was stunning with direct access to the promenade along the cliffs. The tea time was exceptionally delicious! Thank you!

A lovely Guest House overlooking the Ocean in Hermanus and a pleasant change from modern and driftwood. Annie and Sonette were perfect hosts making sure we had dinner reservations and all bases covered. Especially liked the afternoon tea which made for a welcome break in a hectic day of holidaymaking.
