Nice hotel in Hermanus! Room are nice and options to upgrade are available. There's a fire place and a game room to use. Breakfast has different options and will suit anyone!

It's a little bit further from the city centre, so make sure you're prepared for that. It is however, very close to the ocean, which you even can see from some rooms.

It was very nice to stay over in this hotel. The person who received us was very friendly and helpful. The room spacious and clean with a beautiful sea view and balcony. Enjoyed the breakfast too. Will visit there again.

Absolutely poor service, your manager is rude and would rather not have business as we would prefer a lux room (more expensive) than a triple room to accommodate my toddler child. Poor business ethic and zero customer centric service level.

The staff were friendly and helpful along with the rooms being well maintained, although a bit dated. We experienced a comfortable stay. My only gripe was that we booked a ground floor, pool facing room but we're moved to a higher floor when we arrived. At least it was still pool facing....

Arthur: Thank you for everything. Front Desk, bellman, concierge and in the morning, you cooked the huge breakfast. Thank you Jacques as well! You were everywhere! And your advise about the hikes was spot on. Perfect hotel for a great weekend on the ocean. I will miss going to sleep with the lullaby of the waves. Great hotel. Value far exceeded what we paid. We will be back on our next trip to South Africa.

Our little family had a weekend break way and Baleens had everything we needed. Comfortable room, lovely filling breakfast and friendly service. Even though we have been to Hermanus many times, we have never come across this little gem....it allowed us to discuss a part of the town we never knew. It's a definite recommend!!!
