Our group books away every long weekend and this house needs lots of updating in order to be considered a vacation rental. Crockery and cutlery were odd and too little to service the 12 sleeper. Luckily, we brought cardboard plates and disposable cups. The upstairs bedroom was shocking and had broken furniture, it looked like a store room. The shower door was broken and left inside the cubicle. There were broken garbage bags in the yard, which seemed to have been there for a while and rummaged through by and attracting baboons. The TV was locked and had no remote. The owner has been purposefully deceptive with the refund of the breakage deposit. I had no intention to review but the disappointing behaviour regarding the refund proves that the customer is never going to be the priority here. I paid in full when it was requested but I hear daily lies about the R1800. We stayed end of April. I would have considered booking again, as it's a large space for a family and friend group at a great price but begging for money that is owed, is humiliating and sadly leaves a bitter taste.
